Color Inspiration: We scrapped our original plans for Remy's room when we discovered the stunning floral abstract Trove wallpaper. Everything else was designed to keep things simple and complementary to the feature wall.

Color Inspiration continued: We re-purposed the original drapes, creating a teepee and used left over party decorations as a 3D wall treatment.
Tip For Using Color: The "rules" don't apply in a kids room. Being too cautious about matching colors and textures will get in the way of creating a fun and vibrant space.

the mobile is from a wonderful french designer, ClemenceG. i purchased it at a boutique in los angeles that is sadly no longer in business. if you read french, you can order online! here's the link...

When I was pregnant with my daughter, I remember there was a UK company that transfered this sort of imagery (there was a wide choice, from flowers to gumballs, and beyond) to basic furniture -- simple chests of drawers mostly. Very fun!
