Small Kids, Big Color 2009: The Winners!

Who gets crowned the king or queen of color this year? In our biggest contest to date, we had a huge field; with entries coming in from all around the world showing rooms of all sizes, for kids of all ages, and naturally, in a rainbow of beautiful colors. The readers gave their thumbs up to get their favorites into on to the next round and then had to make the difficult choice on just one room to give their final vote to.

YAY! Yay! Good job everyone! Those Dwell gift certificates will be fun to spend for Christmas for the winners, I'm sure! There were such great rooms, so many good ideas. Congrats to the winners!

Awesome! Henry's room is my favorite, and Aiden's is a close second. All of the entries are really creative, wonderful spaces for the children who live in them.

All of the rooms are wonderful but it was about color, color, color. Except for the INT. winner the other rooms were not in my opinion about color but about room organization. Alot of other contestants were not afraid to use color because it can be quite intimidating. Kudos to those who did not win.

I thought the international winner was the best! I loved her use of color most. Maybe next year you will have a prize for Canadians and others who would be quite happy to use a gift certificate online or make a trip to the closest US city to spend it! Just a thought...
