Reagan's Hot Pink Happiness
Small Kids, Big Color Entry #7

thumbs up

Name: Reagan
Age: 7
Location: Athens, Georgia

Color Inspiration: Reagan is my happiest child & her favorite color is HOT PINK, which is a perfect fit for her personality. Of all three girls I call mine, she is the warmest, the most full of life, the most loving & the eldest. She's a bit of a neat freak like her mama too.

Give Jade & Reagan a THUMBS UP if you think this room belongs in the finals!

Tip For Using Color: As a design professional, I like to embrace color. Some rooms you need to carry it on all walls. Other rooms you can use it as a focal point. My tip is take the time to try out many different shades, finishes, applications until you are completely happy. It is worth the effort in the end. Also- remember to consider your trim. Sometimes I leave trim ceiling color. Other times, I change it to add height to the room by painting it wall color. Trim color is as important as wall color for sure.

Colors Used: Focal Wall - Benjamin Moore Blushing Red in semi gloss
Other Walls - Benjamin Moore Super White in semi gloss

Jade...what else is there to say but Awesome! Love the contrasting color selections. The chandelier and sculpture adds an understated touch of class. Wish you were working in the Phila area.

Love the color... But, am I the only one a bit put off by the description (which seems to imply Reagan's little sisters aren't happy, warm, and loving)? ...Perhaps I am being over-sensitive, as a younger sibling who HATED being labeled.

i agree about jdog's description of her daughter as warmest and most loving... even in a world where we all understand a parent can make statements about their children as individuals this still comes across as a little odd. and i'm an only child without sibling baggage :)
