Name/Age: Gwynedd, 8 months
Location: Winnipeg, Canada
Family: Gwynedd, her Mom Kami and her Dad
Room Size: 100 square feet
Division: International
Tip for Living Small with Kids: Keeping on top of cleaning, sweeping and making sure things aren't on the floor than can get in the way or get eaten. Bending down to pick up toys is a good way to see your space from the ground up and remember to clean under everything as well!

What was one of the biggest challenges you faced in putting together this room? One of the biggest challenges was putting together a room on a budget being student parents. Almost everything in the room is thrifted, gifted or handmade. We aren't allowed to paint in our rental so we kept the room airy and white with a wide open space to play and so things don't look cluttered. The antique dresser from my childhood inspired the choice of other natural wood pieces which also match the trim and flooring in the room. Online resources like AT and D*S were inspirations for small spaces as well as treasures we found at garage sales!

We're studemt parents as well! And having a hard time finding others like us. How do you do it?!
I love the room, we can't paint our rental either so it's nice to see someone making do with little embellishments here and there to make up for it!

Love it.
It's amazing what I see people come up with when they're faced with financial limitations. The creativity really comes out there. Amazing room.
