What was one of the biggest challenges you faced in putting together this room? Living in a small apartment in New York City where second bedrooms are typically very small, it is important to consider scale when choosing furniture pieces. This was my biggest challenge, so much research and thought was put into selecting each piece of furniture. I created a size comparison chart and kept track of furniture pieces I liked. In the end, I just did my best in deciding the best fit!

Nice colors - great light (do you have black-out shades??) Very simple yet cozy.

Could you tell me where you got the tree decal and also the branch/shelves over the changing table? I love that!

lovely space! where did you get the green side table with drawers? it reminds me of one (or maybe is the same) that i've seen in a birch color, but was poorly reviewed. how do you feel about the drawers?

Thanks all! Heres some info:

Swirly tree decal found on etsy.com as part of Lewa's Designs. The side table was bought unfinished and then painted with the same pear green BM paint as the wall stripe. Perfect for a small nook and adds storage...found at babyearth.com storage unit by Badger Basket. The crib is Baby Miro Mercer Convertible Crib. The dresser is Baby Miro Modo Three Drawer Changer. The tree branch shelf is from West Elm.

Thanks all! Nature-inspired indeed...what could be more soothing?

My son has entered the world and has been introduced to his nursery. His name is Milo and I hope he loves his new room just as much as mommy and daddy do :-)

Meelai-interior design is my secret passion.
