What was one of the biggest challenges you faced in putting together this room? Bed size ....hahaha Ikea sells a bed that grows with the length of your toddler.....so as he gets longer the bed opens up into a twin bed and we can then rearange the bed to fit againts the wall becuase the room is so small.

I like the animal/ alphabet wall decals! Did you make these yourself?

I *think* the decals are from Blik -- part of their Threadless collaboration. It's like they don't sell that particular style any more though.

I love how the decals serve both function and form! They're beautiful to look at, yet serve the purpose of teaching the ABC's!

The chalkboard paint on the closet doors is fantastic! I will definitely file that idea away for future use!

Great room! Do you have any tips on the magnetic chalkboard closet (i.e. paint brand or technique)? I've read many posts here in the past that have had great difficulty getting any magnets to stick to the magnetic paint.

Jenx-chemgrrl i purchased the chalkboard magnetic paint from homedepot forgot the brand name but it is the only green tin can i think was in a cardboard box just open the box and see if the tin can is green it pictures a chalkboard with a kid on it, i also purchased doors without any paint or stains and oils so that the only thing on the doors is the chalkboard paint.

Mamusia2 legs are from Ikea there the 6" can't even see how you noticed that in the picture but i needed the height to clean under the book shelf and to give it that floating look.

areege80 i wish the answer to that would be yes but i have to say no, my sons furniture is all Ikea but it might be close no real wood was harm in the process of creating my sons bed nor bookshelf.
