Items used for the project and favorite part of the storage solution:
We searched for a solution for her play area in our den that would be fun and unique. We love the look and as a bonus the shapes and colors allow us to make a game out of clean up - Maddie is learning which toys are coordinated with which colors and shapes. We purchased these toy boxes from Via Toys and the curtain hangers for her art work from West Elm.

Best storage tip for families with children:
We're still learning - her collection of toys grows with each year! Friends suggested after the holidays or her birthday we store a few things away (even if it is her older toys) and switch out the toys from time to time to keep them fresh. It is great to have something "new" when we've run out of ideas on
rainy or snowy days!

It is so fun to see a classy living room and playful toyroom coincide! You've done a great job of defining the two areas and making each unique. I am totally gonna do this in our basement. Thanks!
