I would love to, but they always get me first. It's my birthday today so they conspire to get me good every morning. They had saran wrap on the toilet seat today, luckily I saw it before sitting down.

My kids are still too young to "get" April Fools, but you better believe I will be tricking them as soon as they are old enough to know what's going on!

My fourth-grader came home from school today to find his "snack" on the kitchen table. It was a dainy bowl of what looked like beef stew, but was actually gourmet cat food and a glass of what looked like strawberry milk, but was actually plain milk with food coloring.
Don't worry, he laughed as soon as he saw the "stew" and didn't even try to take a bite.

Every year somebody in my life falls for the "I'm pregnant" routine. This year I got folks by posting on my blog (I have a 4-month-old baby right now, so my friends and family should've known better!).
Also I put food-coloring in my toddler's milk. She didn't seem to notice and drank it all down.

I did the blue food coloring thing in the milk - after I saw it on Martha Stewart. My 4 yo was unfazed.
