Kids want to be outside. Now that the weather is warmer, we want to encourage outdoor play as much as possible. Does your home have an outdoor area where your kids can play?

We have a balcony in our upstairs condo, but it's not exactly my idea of a play area for a one-year-old. We go out there to look at trees and birds and play with the windchime, but I take him out for walks or to friends' and relatives' houses to get down and play outdoors. I see neighbors letting their dogs go on the lawns all the time here at my complex, so I take him to my mother-in-law's house to explore grass because she doesn't have pets.
