We talk a lot about baby space and kid space, but we're curious- is there a spot in your house that is still just yours? A place you go to meditate or focus in the morning, or close your eyes at the end of a long day? Ours is just a lone rocking chair in front of the bay window of our brownstone. It overlooks a tree full of chirping birds.

during the summer definitely the balcony... as soon as my girls are asleep I go on the balcony to read, paint my nails, water my tomato plants, chat on the phone, whattever.
