The Electric Company Returns

You remember The Electric Company right? It came on after Sesame Street, and it was kind of like Sesame Street's cool older brother to us. It featured none other than Morgan Freeman and Bill Cosby. Well, the actors may be different, but look for the return of The Electric Company this January 2009.

Of course, the show will be updated with more hip hop and dance, and apparently a little bit more like "High School Musical." They're currently shooting for the show in New York City and Newark. But the important thing is that it will still have encouraging literacy as its primary goal.
