We bought a handmade - but not expensive! - ladybug step stool for my daughter from Tots Only through Etsy. (He's on vacation through the end of Sept. but will be back soon.) My daughter LOVES it.

We bought one of the IKEA ones for my daughter's room. So far it has been used as a doll bath and a doll bed, but not as a step-stool.

The Container Store's Ultra Safe 2-Step Stool isn't particularly pretty, but it's functional. At 18" high, it's the only stool that actually gets our 3-year-old up high enough for him to be able to comfortably wash his hands by himself at the bathroom sink.

I just purchased the Do Your Room step stool from Target. It's sturdy and functional without much fuss. And now, my 2 1/2 year old son has no problem getting up to the sink, turning on the water, washing his hand and brushing his teeth. It's a great esteem booster.

We have the $3 Ikea stools at every sink and they've lasted for 5 years, seemingly impervious to kid damage.

You have the Eddie Bauer model listed as $25.95, but when I clicked on the link, the Amazon price was $74.95. Ouch.
