While at the market last week we saw a new (or maybe just new to us) line of toys by Sassy. They weren't the usual plastic suspects we're used to seeing at the grocery store.
Earth Brights Line By Sassy
Earth Brights is a set of handcrafted wood and fabric toys and teethers with water-based finishes and packaging made from 100% recycled paperboard. After flashing a few of the choices in front of baby, he chose the Dove Rattle (first pic) and the Cherry Tree.
See the full line here . The toys in the Earth Brights collection all have a nature theme - we may pick up the spring bouquet and the caterpillar on our next round.

we have the dove, the lil twig rattle and the see me star. the line isn't new - I purchased them for my son about a year ago when he was still an infant.
the great thing about these is that they are sold at stores like Babies R Us that don't traditionally carry these kinds of toys (wooden, made with non-toxic paints, etc...)

My sister gave us the dove when our daughter was born. She absolutely adores it. I highly recommend it. I'm pretty positive my sister didn't score the same kind of deal as BuddhaBellysMum though! A dollar each!? Definitely worth it.
