Ringley Natural Teething Toy

ringley-teether.jpgOy... teething. You forget how bad it can be until once again you're thrust back in the middle of it. The only teether we've found to be consistently effective has been a frozen damp washcloth, but we have to confess that we've never been too thrilled with how they look when they get to that "limp dishrag" stage. We're attracted to the Ringley Teething Toy, which promises to have all the properties of a frozen cloth, but looks a heck of a lot prettier.

Untitled-2.jpgThe cloth component is made of 100% organic terrycloth and comes in two styles: knotted or straight. The wooden ring is made of Canadian maple, which is also safe for chewing. We like the ring because, not only does it make for a more comfortable handle than just holding onto the cold cloth, you can also hook it to your stroller and spare yourself the ick factor of having to pick up the cloth your baby has just hurled onto the dirty sidewalk.

Sorry to hear you're going through the teething stage again ALREADY but I suppose it happens to the best of us... thanks for posting about this - they sell them at Little Earth (beside Pomegranate) and I always wondered about them...

Very unique teether. And it looks really nice and cool. I hope this gives comfort and eases the teething pain. My sister has discovered amber teething necklaces and she swears by it. She says amber has a therapeutic and soothing property. And the kid doesn’t have to chew it. Babies only need to wear the amber beads and they’d feel instant relief. I am thinking of trying out the necklace too. I hear many online childrens boutiques have them.
