Skip Hop's Funky Farmyard Collection

If you're a fan of the modern view Skip Hop has taken on many baby basics, you'll be glad to hear that they've introduced the new Funky Farmyard collection. Like its predecessors, we're talking bright colors and interesting shapes that appeal to baby but that aren't eyesores to their parents.

In addition to the baby gym, the Funky Farmyard line will include a Touch & View activity mirror with texture; Squeak & Rattle funny face mirror with plush bodies; Cuddly Chime Ball, round farm animals with a chime inside; Stack & Touch Build-a-Barn blocks; and the Chime Rattle & Roll animal ball trio. According to Baby Chic, the new line will be available this May.

I got the space ship Skip Hop activity center that was a Babies'r'Us exclusive and it's super cool also.

I was excited about the space ship stuff because I'm an SF fan, (so is my husband) but when I got a look at it in BRU it just didn't seem to be very interesting for a baby. And especially not for the price. The Fisher Price rainforest gym was cheaper than the Skip Hop space ship one and it has many more things interesting to a baby, plus lights and music. I'd rather have had the Skip Hop to look at, but it's my daughter's toy, not mine.
