Toys for the Future Butcher

We like a little red meat now and again. The current trend towards well-designed play food is hard to resist. A trip to the "market" yields wooden fruits and vegetables, knitted cupcakes and even sushi. And now baby can have steak as well thanks to Sweet Meats.

We adore the variety of cuts Meat Medley offers.

Sweet Meat toys are made of polar fleece, cotton quilting thread and polyester fiberfill stuffing.

Each cut comes in individual (toy) size and some also come in family (pillow) size and comes wrapped in butcher paper and sealed with a deli sticker. The Meat Medley is $69.99 and the Racka Ribs is $24.99, available here.

but are they machine-washable? if there's one thing i've found with kids and play food, it's that they still love to put the fake stuff in their mouths. yuck.

Too stinkin' fun! My hubby, an avowed carnivore, is going to want these. For the baby on the way, of course. ;-P My daughter wants to know why they don't have buffalo or venison. Hmmm. Perhaps we enjoy our meat too much?
