While we like the look of a proper dollhouse, especially the modern offerings available these days, we still hold a torch for the homemade variety. Growing up, we had a makeshift 4 room, two story dollhouse made from a small bookcase. We love the idea of this glass dollhouse spotted at Piratas de Ikea.

It's a perfect structure for a dollhouse and you'll be glad to know the glass really is polystyrene (a hard plastic) so breakage won't be a concern.
