Arche Toys by Floris Hovers

Why do grown-ups still have the desire to play with toys? This is the question Dutch designer Floris Hovers asked himself while developing his line of model cars unveiled at Dutch Design Week this fall.

Once you get a look at the collection, we think the answer is evident - they're simply beautiful.

Hovers believes his "Arche Toys" are meant to be played with, but not necessarily by children. We'd have to disagree - their timeless, yet sentimental design will keep them relevant and being made of steel will keep them in good condition for years to come.

Each vehicle was handmade in Hovers studio from concept drawing to final product. He is hoping to find a manufacturer for them and we're crossing our fingers, too.
