Sign-up for a membership plan (higher levels of membership allow you more toys out at one time). Add toys to your wishlist and they'll be mailed to you. You can keep them as long as you like, with no late fees. When baby is need of fresh toys, return the originals back into the shipping box and send them back. Once BabyPlays receives them, you'll be sent new toys from your wishlist.
Plans range from $36.99 to $64.99. All toys are lead tested, meet U.S. safety standards and are sanitized using Clorox. Check out the BabyPlays website for more details.
This is an interesting idea but the toy selection is poor. Who wants to rent cheap plastic toys? I can understand renting high quality toys like Haba or other high quality investment pieces.
Also, do we really need the link to Clorox? Yes chlorine bleach kills germs. So do non-toxic bleaches and sanitizers.
Finally...that is one creepy bio.

This is a great idea, but I also found the toy selection disappointing. Most of them just aren't things I'm interested in having, even on loan. I'm glad they sanitize but using a non-toxic cleaner would be even better. I guess I find it a little surprising that it's not a greenwashed operation. Who wants to start the natural toys/non-toxic version with me?

I echo the sentiments by the previous comments that the selection is definitely not what I would want to have for our kids. I don't think we buy even $400 of toys per year - and we have 2 kids. For us, it's a few quality toys a year, and lots of books borrowed from the library. Kudos for her and for those who find it useful, but no thanks.
