Bamboo Pebbles

We seem to pick up at least one rock on the way home from the playground. To foster this love for different colored, sized and textured rocks, we'd love to purchase a set of these Bamboo Pebbles by Bambu. They'd make a great sensorial toy to display or to take along in the diaper bag.

These pebbles are smooth like river rocks and soothing to the touch. They are made from 100% organically-grown bamboo using non-toxic adhesive. Bambu makes these pebbles from the waste left over from its cutting boards and other pieces. Each package contains 13 pieces. Available here and elsewhere.

I really can't believe the commentary on this product. It's great that the company makes these bamboo "pebbles" from left over pieces of wood, but spending $20 on wooden rocks to "foster love for different colored, sized, and textured [REAL] rocks" sounds absolutely moronic. PU-LEAZE.

These are lovely and I would love to have them fill a nice little bowl, but they are far too pricey. I have yet to pay for a rock, so why start now?
