We read the review for this Lego set at Cookie Magazine, and we were impressed. Maybe it's our urge to be at a beach house, but this house has it all- we're talking fireplace, balcony, skylights, and they even threw some chicken on the barbecue out back.
The nice thing about the Creator sets is that even though they come with instructions on what to build, you can actually build three completely different structures from the same set. In this case, you can build the beachhouse, a two-story cafe, or tall brownstone.
This seems like a lot of play time out of one set of Legos. Find it here for $29.99.
Thanks to Cookie Magazine for pointing it out!
I made a look-alike from the blocks I had laying around!!! Wish LEGO would sell books with instructions rather than forsing people to buy a set of blocks for making a handful of models. Sure, they throw a few neat pieces in there but you can buy them in a LEGO store.

Agreed, Nudik. Also, they've gone way heavy on the specialized pieces in the past 15-20 years or so. Remember back when everything was made out of pretty much interchangeable pieces? You'd buy a set and make the model maybe once, but then 99% of the pieces were great for building anything else you wanted. Now I buy a house and the walls are made of solid wall panels instead of built out of several bricks, the stove is a one-piece dollhouse-type stove instead of made out of more versatile pieces, etc. Grr.

I have this set... actually, the only Lego "house" sets I don't have yet is the new Green grocer. But I have the townhouse, the Red & White little house, the big hotel and market street. I love them all. These are neat because they do use regular individual pieces instead of alot of specialized parts. The chicken leg of the grill is fantastic on this set. So cute!
