Last week we featured Haba's Great Pyramid Blocks, and were surprised to find their also make a very nice set of Russian Blocks. Cue the theme from Dr. Zhivago!

Whether you want to teach your child about world architecture, or you just want to recreate scenes from Eugene Onegin, these beautiful blocks are sure to entertain.

As a German mom-to-be to a German/Russian baby, I've already decided that HABA basically rocks. We haven't bought these yet, as he's a little young for them - but then, we did buy the Russian wooden alphabet blocks, which I suppose he's too young for, as well. I love HABA stuff, and I love even more that I can find it cheaper online in the U.S. than if I were to buy it in Germany (given the current Euro-Dollar exchange rate)!
