Jack's "Suzy Homemaker" Play Kitchen

We thought "Suzy Homemaker" was just a fun expression, but Angela scored a vintage stove by this name at an antique shop and created a little play kitchen for her son Jack to go along with it.

Besides the cute stove, we really like that Angela put together the rest of the kitchen with things around her home (including the great table and chair set from BabyStyle) so when Jack has moved on she can repurpose everything into something else that he will enjoy. Jack has been "cooking up a storm" in miniature Revere Ware pots and pans that used to belong to Angela and using an assortment of homemade felt food and store-bought play food including a Melissa & Doug cutting fruit set.

Great job, Angela!

I especially like the Tinker Toys can sitting on the table. We just pulled those out of our "Mom Can't Throw These Away" kids closet for our grandson.

Somehow or other we're enjoying them more with him than we did with our son when we bought them.

Great kitchen playset. Just shows you what a little creativity can do. Kind of has the old farmhouse look with a modern spin to it.

Thanks for the photos.
