Little Playhouse I

2008-12-18-housew1.jpg

We received an email from Waibun introducing us to his cardboard playhouse. He told us: I designed it for my son out of some cardboard boxes from the gifts we got from his baby shower/christmas/birthday. He had such a great time with it, all my friends tarted asking if I would make one for them. Thus my idea was born.

We're digging the details - each house has a chimney, a mailbox and a window flower box. Little Playhouse I requires no glue or tape for assembly. The walls are constructed of 275 pound corrugated cardboard and come in either white or brown kraft. Go here for more information and to purchase.

With any luck, there will be a Little Playhouse II coming soon.

Thanks, Waibun!

Wow, that's actually really reasonably priced ($34.99 on sale this week). I was expecting to see a $100 price tag. It seems a little small for kids over about 2 years of age, but it would be a rockin' doll house for large dolls.

What an awesome, creative, (not to mention eco-friendly) gift for a kid! I especially like the fact that kids can color or paint the house themselves.

And like sarahez, I am very impressed by the affordable price.
