Look! An Official IKEA Play Kitchen

2009-06-09-duktig.JPG

To all you play kitchen lovers out there - we've seen lots of fabulous DIYs from our readers, many of which use IKEA parts and components. Well, a friend just alerted us to the fact that IKEA has its own play kitchen for sale. It looks like it's modeled after its own adult-sized kitchen cabinetry line. So what's the catch?

The Duktig mini-kitchen is not available States-side. We found it on the U.K. site selling for £65. But we're taking comfort in the fact that much of the Duktig line is available in the U.S. (see posts here and here).

I live in Germany and have actually seen this kitchen at our local IKEA. Cute, yes. Durable, NO! So don't feel too bad about not getting to have one...

Wow! That looks a lot like the revamped kitchens on this site, especially the ones made out of Ikea parts!

Anyone know if they carry it at IKEA in Sweden?

On the Ikea website you can click on europe and then on Sweden and see if they have it on there. Although I don't if everything that is in the store is online.
