Made of lacquered MDF board and plastic, with clickable knobs for the stove and the oven. And for the truly sophisticated, we see on the Micki Leksaker site that a black version was recently released, though our search didn't turn up an online retailer.

We got one second hand for our son and he absolutely loved it! I don't know how old it was but I hope they make the new ones a bit more sturdy because he's managed to absolutely wreck it already (he's only 2 1/2)
