We always thought the Princess (of Princess and the Pea fame) was a bit too highfalutin. It was a pea, for crying outloud. Still, the Princess in this crocheted Princess and Pea set seems considerably more down-to-earth than her literary counterpart.

Love it, it is so sweet. I'm sure the pea will be lost in my house in days, if not minutes, but the doll, bedding and bed are beautiful. I'm much more a fan of a "folk modern" look so this would tie in with my style sense.
