Roundup: Wooden Toys

We have so much great information, here at Ohdeedoh, that it is sometimes easy to lose track of everything we've shown you. To refresh your memory, here are a few posts on some great wooden toys we've written about in the past.

Stage your own version of Snow White, William Tell or Eve hanging with the serpent with this wooden apple coin bank, by Vilac. Of course, you can also just store coins in it, but how fun is that?

Automoblox are the wooden cars, where old meets new -- traditional, like a wooden toy, but with a kick. Children can mix and match parts till they drop.

The Haba Discovery Ballis a great first toy for infants. Bright yellow and just the right shape for little hands to handle and explore.

Mid-century designer Alexander Girard's alphabet blocks are most certain to become a favorite of designerly parents -- more so than a favorite of their children. Created by House Industries in collaboration with the estate of Girard.

What's really great about this lovely wooden stroller is not only it's simple and pretty design, but how easily it can fold up and be put away under a bed or in a closet. We love the bright colors, too!

The Pottery Barn Color Wheel is equal parts puzzle and objet d'art. Children fit colored pieces together to create a lovely piece which will look just as great in a nursery as it would on a coffee table.
