Their Very Own Tree House

2007-05-31-main.jpg

Who doesn't love a tree house? The price of $115 seems pretty low for all the features of this tree house: a roll up ladder, porch swing for the 2 figures that come with it, trap door, hammock (perfect for summer), tire swing, pivoting stairs, and foliage. There's even a working pulley system with a bucket.

We played for hours with our dollhouse- ok, maybe we were mostly decorating- pasting up wallpaper, and rearranging the furniture- but we can imagine kids getting a lot of playtime out of this toy.

Bottom line- if they keep asking for a treehouse- but you don't have the skills, or the time, or the trees to build a real one- maybe this is the way to go. Melissa and Doug have done it again. It's available here.

I played with my tiny, plastic Ewok Village for hours on end when I was a kid. I would've never left the house if I'd had this thing. Too cool.

So freaking cute. Now I"m trying to figure out if we have room for this . . . my son has a birthday coming up.

One of the great things about having kids is that you can buy toys you secretly want to play with yourself and claim it's for them.

It's so charming! I want, I want!
