    A solution to two of your problems is to tuck your _long_ shirt into your pants, you know! A solution to the first problem you adressed is sledding in "Korketrekkern" in Oslo, the former bob sleigh-path from the Olympics in 1952. You sled down, then use the subway to get up. Sledding is the best thing, even as a grown-up :) *crossing my fingers that the snow will stay*
