Villa Julia Play Fort

052609-playfort.jpg Just because our favorite thing when we were younger was a cardboard box flipped upside down making a house, doesn't mean that we're above loving a super chic, non-diy version. We're not sure if it's crisp white exterior in combination with it's bold black lines, or if it's 3-D roof and Mid CEntury inspiration, but either way, we're in love (yes, again). Check out 2 more views and it's price tag after the jump!

052609-playfort2.jpg We're pretty sure that if the right pieces of cardboard were found this could be a DIY project with a few black markers and some patience. But if that isn't your style, you can pick up this version, designed by Javier Mariscal, for a cool $275.

052609-playfort3.jpg Although the price tag might be a bit steep for our pocketbooks (digging through the trash for cardboard is looking more appealing by the minute), we can still love this play fort's fabulous design and flawless execution.

$275? You can buy a couple of Calacastles for that.
