Yo Gabba Gabba! Figures by Kidrobot

yogabbagabbafiguresKR.jpg
We've documented our affection for Yo Gabba Gabba! here at Ohdeedoh and the consensus among our readers was the same: we wish they would make YGG toys. Well, our wish has come true! *squee*

The fine folks over at Kidrobot now offer your very own Plex, Muno, Toodee, Brobee (whose mouth actually rotates to make him smile or frown) and Foofa to take home. Each figure, $24.95, measure between 7" and 10" and is made of vinyl.

Now all you have to do is find a day-glo orange unitard and you and your child will be all set to rock out with your YGG set.

We got them for our kids for Christmas. They ARE so adorable!! But they aren't for playing. Since then, Foofa's flower came off and Muno split in the middle...LOL. But the box clearly says display only. Good thing we bought an extra set for just mom and dad. The packaging it comes in is SUPERB!! The detail is really great. Obviously, we are fans. The Brobee sweatshirt is a must...when my toddler gets sad, he turns the smile upside down on his sweatshirt so Brobee can be sad like him...LOL. Now only if they had the boombox and DJ Lance, everything would be perfect!

We were given a couple of them as well, they're fancy and fragile. Definitely not for kids. They're up on a bookshelf, untouched. Really not the free-for-all fun that Yo Gabba Gabba represents.

Oh, that's disappointing to read. If you buy one, then it's just a mean temptation for your child. :(

Um, yeah. I bought Plex for my not-quite two-year old for Christmas. I couldn't wait for him to open it so I could play with it too! While he was getting into all his other Christmas loot, I grabbed Plex and ... promptly snapped off his arm. 5 minutes after he opened the package! ARGH!

We love Yo Gabba Gabba. I recommend the iron-ons from the Nick, Jr. website. Great results.

Ah darn, oh well...

I still love the show, though.
