Is it too soon? Yesterday's cold rain wasn't our idea of fun, but cold snow -- that's definitely to our liking. This year we want to be prepared. The graceful lines and craftmanship of the KinderSleigh are beckoning.

We know there are lots of less expensive plastic sleds available but there is something definitely very nostalgic about the KinderSleigh. The sleigh is made of ash wood and has plastic runners. A pad is available for comfort. Available here and elsewhere.
i had one of these growing up, probably the same company (i'm only 24 now). it was cute but didn't get much use... the runners sunk into the snow too much so it wouldn't work half the time. it's good on icy, packed surfaces.

Look Mommy has a post today about one of the other classic wood-style sleds. More for actually sledding than pulling your little ones around, but still really cool. Here's the link: http://lookmommy.blogspot.com/
