Puzzimals

Puzzimals remind us of the concrete poetry Mrs. Hogan made us work on in the 7th grade. Hand-crafted from wood by an Amish father and son duo in Ohio (each piece is signed by either Harvey or Harvey Jr.), the pair have designed and made literally hundreds of animals from which to choose.

The puzzles vary in size, but most are between 6 and 8 inches long and 4 to 7 inches tall and cost either $10 or $12.

The animals range from your standard barnyard goats to more exotic creatures like lynx and alpaca.

We counted well over a hundred different dog breeds available as well as many different breeds of cats and horses.

For $32 Harvey or Harvey Jr. will hand draw and cut your child's name (or your dog's name if you prefer) into a Puzzimal. Find them all at Amish Woodworks.

Reminds me of WordWorld, which my kid loves BTW, so this is something she may enjoy.

Too funny. My parents got one of these (the bulldog) at a junk store for my daughter. She's only two and can't really put it together herself yet, but she loves it. It's really nicely made, but we had no idea where it came from.
