We've heard great things. The Rody Horse helps kids learn balance and coordination. And when their ready, a base is available to turn Rody into rockin' Rody.
We like the fact that Rody is made of latex-free soft vinyl. And it works with your child - Rody can be inflated as your child grows. Available here and elsewhere for $39.95.
Does your child have one? Let us know what you think!
I am wondering, what is bad about latex? I thought latex was a natural material, and safe for children. Vinyl, on the other hand, is pretty toxic. Is this correct? Or am I confused?

I just bought it for my 2 yr old son for his birthday this last weekend. He loved it ever since he first saw it a year ago. When he opened it, all the kids were yelling and shouting. We had kids ranging from 2-9yrs. Even some of the adults tried to get on it. I bought ours from Rabbit and Duck. For $45 you get the pump included and free Fedex shipping. I ordered on the 19th and was able to get it on his bday the 21st. AWESOME!!! http://www.rabbitnduck.com/pm-480-4-gymnic-rody-horse-bundle-1.aspx

thanks dcmom! I really did not know latex could be harmful to children. Lots of bottle nipples & pacifiers seem to be made of latex.

My daughter swapped her rolly suitcase for Rody with a friend because she was so in love with it. She insists that it "sleep" at the edge of her bed nightly. She falls off of it most of the time when she tries to bounce on it (she's 2 and a bit). She and her pals have wicked arguments over it, but once the victor has it, no one seems to try to ride it, just hug it tightly. My one complaint is the smell. Why does it need to smell like fake vanilla? I have to leave it outside sometimes because it makes my nose crazy!
