Carriage Couture

Pimp your baby's ride with a personalized stroller "hood." We all know that motherhood is the mother of invention and when Alexandra Lyon Perelman was searching for her stroller among a crowd of identical and similar strollers at a Mommy and Me music class she decided to monogram the canopy of her with her son's initials. She got requests from other mothers for this kind of personalization and decided to launch Carriage Couture.

Keep it classic with initials or add symbols like a skull, planes, buddhas, stars, etc. There are eight fonts and over 15 thread colors to choose from. You can see a small gallery of customized canopies here.

Alexandra is based in New York City and it's unclear from the Carriage Couture website if her service is only available locally. Contact Carriage Couture for design options and pricing.

What about you - have you personalized your stroller in any way, either to identify it more easily in a crowd or just for fun?

I have ordered this swedish 'license plate' for the stroller [since I'm swedish I have the low-down]. It's made of hard plastic with reflector like text. It is completely customizeable too. You can put the name or something cool.. and it comes wit or without any flag you might have and the birth-date of your baby.
