Snake Lock

A few weekends ago we went shoppping for nothing in particular and while in one of our favorite local boutiques, came upon this Snake Bike Lock. Before we could even pick it up to give it a better look, the woman behind the counter told us that it makes for a fun looking stroller lock and many parents have started using them.

Really? We'd never really thought about locking down our stroller, although we admit there are times when we park it outside of a cafe or a friend's house for a few hours and wonder if will still be waiting for us when we leave.

Also, we think about when friends come over and the gaggle of strollers simply won't fit in our small entryway. Guests leave them outside but we'd feel responsible if anything should happen.

So Ohdeedoh Readers, tell us -- do you lock your strollers when leaving them for an extended amount of time? If not, do you at least worry about stroller theft? Tell us in the comments.

The Snake Bike Lock is available here for $32.

I live in Seattle, and I've never seen a stroller locked up here. I do wonder about the $800 bugaboos I see parked all over the place. I would have serious anxiety about leaving something that valuable laying around without locking it up!
