Best Tip for Traveling with Kids: Take an additional day's worth of diapers and clothes in your carry-on luggage. If the airline loses your bag, you will be able to get through the first day at your destination without having to go shopping. I learned that the hard way on our last trip from Australia. Qantas delivered the bag early the next day, but we had to go out and buy diapers after the long haul flight.

Favorite Way to Make it Feel Like Home: Keep the bedtime routine as close to home as possible...have a bath, read a familiar story and drink milk out of her favorite sippy cup just like we do in her own bedroom.

An Item you MUST Take With You While Traveling: We always take back-up security items. The twins are addicted to their special soft bunny toys, so we bought 2 additional ones each. We travel with all 6 bunnies so that we will never be caught without one.
