Your favorite baby or child-friendly activity there: The beach... she could have played in the sand and the water for hours if we felt like sitting there.

Your best tip or words of wisdom for traveling with kids: Go in with a plan but be flexible. We planned to get on the road at bedtime thinking she would fall asleep and we could go as long as we could. We ended up stopping two hours later because she would NOT go to sleep and began to scream and we knew it wasn't fair to keep going. The next day, armed with plenty of snacks, we made the rest of the 6 hours in the car without getting her out of her carseat.

Your favorite way to make it feel like home: Bringing her "sleep sheep" that makes wave sounds just like her noise machine at home.

An item you MUST take with you when traveling: Tons of kid-friendly food for the car and your stay. Seems like its priced higher in touristy areas, so you save a little money by bringing it ahead too.
