Rain or Shine Kids (makers of the Woobee) has just come out with the cozy, water resistant 'b blanket' which looks like a good bet for chilly days.
This looks similar to the Bunnytail blanket we have and love. (http://www.bunnytailblankets.com/) It is fleece on one side and waterproof on the other, has a reflective stripe, and, best of all, has snaps, which allow it to be snapped around a baby in a sling or worn like a cape by older kids.
It's great for stroller rides and also for putting down on the damp ground. We lost ours briefly and I was ready to run out and buy another one immediately (luckily, someone left it up on a fence for us...good blanket karma).
