Favorite Baby or Child Friendly Activity There: It's been a great experience for us to learn about another culture with Eleanor including visiting arab forts, desert oases, running around in the desert and visiting a mosque.
Best Tip for Traveling with Kids: Keep them happy with lots of distractions! Like lollipops or a new little toy.
Favorite Way to Make it Feel Like Home: We have always taken her baby and blanket that she sleeps with so no matter where we are she has these items to make her feel safe and give her something familiar.
An Item you MUST Take With You While Traveling: Besides her baby and blanket listed above, a few paperback books (so they are light) are great to keep her occupied.

Yes, that photo is beautiful...I would have thought the sand to be too hot to walk with bare feet--but she looks very placid.

This photo was taken in April. We've had the opportunity to live here a for a year and are just heading home in a couple weeks! Can't wait. Unfortunately now (and for a good couple months now) temperatures have been way to high (110-115 generally) to run around in the desert :( The times we have been out have been great - like a great big sand box for her!
