No more junk in the trunk. For parents, the car functions as an extension of the home for things like storage or a quick diaper change. The Fleurville Auto Bag motivates us to organize the trunk of our car. The Auto Bag is really a set of 4 bags - 3 smaller bags that fit into a large bag with a rubber bottom, which keeps the the contents clean and stops it from shifting while you drive.

most apartment dwelling parents i know do not have a car.
do you really take this much stuff with you on a regular basis if you drive places?

Put this in your trunk and kiss your stroller goodbye unless you drive a Hummer (shame on you!).

It seems like a good 'alternative to grocery bags' idea to me. I like that it's PVC-free too. Plus wouldn't it just smoosh down if you needed to put a stroller in (minus the groceries of course).
lb- your comment makes me wonder how many of us do have cars. We live in an apartment and have a car ourselves, as does everyone around us. I can't imagine living with out it! If we lived somewhere more bike friendly then maybe.

K,
Sorry but it's not like I can choose between my kid's stroller and groceries or any other fruit of my errands. Everything needs to fit, I don't see this product as helping my routine especially for the outrageous price of $250 (or the outrageous on-sale price of $99).

Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know only apartment dwellers were ALLOWED to read this site.

And when I DID live in an apartment, I always needed a car to get around. Not everyone lives in NYC or similar.

ha, well i do spy a copy of the new york times magazine peeking out of that autobag up there.
i don't really care either way about this product. i do think its kinda ugly. i suppose its good in the sense that you'd be brining your own bags for your groceries? oh wait, you'd be driving to get them in this case.

Well I thought this looked really useful. I know its called Apartment Therapy but for every reader of AT that lives in an apartment with no car and no backyard there is probably another reader, like me, who lives in a house on 1000m2 of land, drives a car, dries clothes on an outdoor washing line... you get the idea. Usefulness is all relative! I often look at the products reviewed that are geared towards apartment living in a big city and think "not relevant to me" but I don't assume they aren't useful to anyone!
