Trunki

2007_08_03_trunki.jpg Take Trunki on your next trip. Air travel can make anyone cranky, but kids especially get worn out from the long lines, delays, and often, wrangling their own luggage. Trunki aims to make travel both more fun for kids and more relaxing for their parents. It's designed to be ridden or pulled along and, frankly, just seems like a good place to sit in a crowded airport terminal or those interminably long check-in lines. Another piece of good news is it qualifies as hand luggage so you can carry it right onto the plane.

Trunki is strong enough to carry two children (ages 3-6 recommended), but, on its own, weighs less than 4 lbs.

Convinced that travel can be fun for kids, Trunki has several ideas and activities you can download at their website including a travel journal, a memory game and "Are we there yet?" tickets you can issue at different intervals of your trip.

Trunki is made in the UK, but can be purchased in the U.S. here for around $40.

Maybe I'm just wishing I were still a kid and could be pulled around on it myself, but this looks terrific!
