Artist Series Wallpaper by Rollout

rollou-monster.jpgWe've always loved that scene in Woody Allen's Manhattan Hannah and Her Sisters when a rock star comes to call on the curmudgeonly painter played by Max von Sydow, and enrages him by asking if he has any larger pieces to sell, "Because I've got some really big walls." Perhaps artist-designed wallpaper would have spared everyone some angst.

Custom wallpaper manufacturer Rollout has some fabulous designs created by their community of illustrators, photographers, and graphic artists. While they're not designed for kids, per se, many of these patterns would look amazing in a baby or child's room.

Rollout's motto is "You dream it. We make it." There's a definite surreal, dreamlike quality to many of these artists' designs. Our favorites are Adopt-A-Monster, designed by Sonja Schneider (pictured at the top of this post). We also love Forest Paper, designed by Peng Creative, and Bikes, by Telegramme.

Any of the artist series designs can be custom printed to fit your space, even if you have "really big walls." Contact Rollout for more details.

wow - love the forest paper! The camoscape is really cool too (for the colors, not necessarily great for a kid's room of course).

It's gorgeous. But that scene was from Hannah and Her Sisters, not Manhattan.

Doh! I should know better, since I've seen both those movies a hundred times. This is what happens when I write late at night.
