This reminds me of an idea I had this weekend. Has anyone tried spray-painting stenciled designs on cheap vinyl roller-shades (like you can buy at Home Depot)? You could even just tape off lines, and paint stripes along to bottom edge of the shade for a fun accent. I thought it would be a cute way to dress up a nursery.

My mother let me paint mine when I was little. That was before all of the stenciling and all that crap.
I am not sure what kind of paints we used but I think the only reason they are out of the room is b/c I threw a fit in high school b/c I didn't want them anymore.
